Specification Guide

Use Class (previously Hazard Class) is the new classification for measuring the level of preservative treatment required for timber depending on its eventual end use and its risk of attack. The main difference between the classifications is the addition of a Use Class 3A and 3B. At Glenavon we treat all timber within this classification to Class 3B.
